This piece was created at the request of the historic Wickham House in Richmond, Virginia. Inspired by the preserved dress of Elizabeth Wickham, I painted a portrait of her in the dress onto a vintage mirror from the same time period. The mirror was mounted onto a marble stand and installed into the parlor of the Wickham House for the duration of the exhibition.
